We are thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity for our community. The IABC Waterloo and IABC London chapters are in the process of amalgamating over the next several months to form a single, stronger entity: IABC Southwestern Ontario. This strategic integration aims to enhance our impact, pool resources, and better serve our members across the region.

Why Amalgamate?

The decision to amalgamate stems from our commitment to providing the best possible resources, networking opportunities, and professional development for business communicators. Here are some key reasons behind this move:

  1. More Power Together: By combining forces, we can leverage our collective strengths and present a more powerful and united front in the region.

  2. Increased Resources: Shared resources will enable us to offer better programs, events, and services to our members, optimizing funds and volunteer efforts.

  4. Collaboration Over Competition: Instead of competing for members and resources, we can work together to provide greater value and support for our members.
