Megan Zinn

Megan Zinn
Megan is a seasoned communications and fundraising professional. She has held a variety of roles in nonprofit and public sector organizations. She currently works as Corporate Communication Officer at Fanshawe College.

Megan is a graduate of Athabasca University and Fanshawe College, and she held the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation from 2014 to 2020. She has served on a number of boards of directors, including two terms as President of the London and Region Fundraising Professionals (LRFP). In addition to her role with IABC London, Megan served as Director, Finance for IABC Canada East Region during the 2019/20 year.

Robert DeLaet
Robert is an award-winning communications professional who pairs research-informed strategies with innovative tactics to strengthen organizational brand and reputation. With a well-rounded skill set, he specializes in leading strategic communications planning, internal communications, media relations, web and social media strategies, event planning and multimedia production.

With a passion for organizations that improve lives, Robert is currently working as a Communications Consultant at Lawson Health Research Institute (the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London). Previous to his role as IABC London’s President-Elect, Robert served for two years as the chapter’s Awards Director during which he led a strategic review  and successful relaunch of the Virtuoso Awards program.

Marek Kubow
Marek is currently a Communications Consultant in the Corporate Communications and Public Relations department at London Health Sciences Centre focusing on internal communications. He has been recognized for his work by the International Association of Business Communicators and Health Care Public Relations Association. Marek also volunteers on the board at Cross Cultural Learner Centre in London.

Jaye Bowers
Jaye is completing his final course towards a Bachelor of Professional Arts degree in Communications at Athabasca University, and is also a graduate of the Business Marketing program at Fanshawe College. With many years’ experience in internal communications as well as event marketing, project management, and team leadership in the market research industry, he is a passionate believer in the crucial role that communication plays in both building strong teams, and achieving personal and organizational success.

Sonia Hota
Sonia brings to the Board her many years of corporate communications, research and client relations experience. She enjoys problem-solving, being creative and connecting with others. In addition to her passion for communications, Sonia is highly invested in health and wellness and is a certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

Sonia has volunteered with the IABC London Board as Digital Content Liaison, Student Membership Liaison and Director, Mentorship. This is her fourth year being part of the IABC London team.

Olivia is a Digital Marketing Specialist at Northern Commerce; she works with clients to help deliver extraordinary eCommerce solutions. She graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a post-graduate certificate in Public Relations – Corporate Communications from Fanshawe College. She is passionate about local community work and championing women in communications and technology.

Kattie Forbes
Kattie is a Communications and Fund Development Specialist at the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC). She graduated from Western University with an Honors Specialization in English Language and Literature and a Public Relations Diploma from Western Continuing Studies. Since graduating in 2017, she has been politically active in London, working on various campaigns in the City. Kattie’s passion for communications and public relations stems from the desire to make lasting change in our community.

Having worked for two well-known agencies in the City – currently RedRhino – Renée has a variety of experience developing and implementing corporate, nonprofit and public sector campaigns. Bold visions and in-depth strategies that bring communities together and mobilize change are at the core of her passion. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from York University, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from Western University.

Erinor Jacob-Levine
Erinor has over six years of communications experience with a focus on internal communications in health and post-secondary education settings. She holds a masters degree in political science from Western University and a certificate in public relations from Ryerson University. Currently, she works as a Communications Consultant at London Health Sciences Centre where she provides strategic internal communications support.

Cassie is a graduate of the Journalism Program at Mohawk College, and holds a Bachelor of Communications with Research Specialization from Wilfrid Laurier University. Cassie currently works in Corporate Communications and Public Relations at London Health Sciences Centre, where she has gained experience in multimedia production, internal and external storytelling, web and social media strategy and community engagement.
