IABC London. Brand. New.

Jo Ann Johnston, IABC London President-ElectIABC has a new look and now IABC London does too.The new brand was officially launched at the June 2015 IABC World Conference — the first re-branding initiative for the international organization in its 45-year history. But just like any brand, the new look is about much more than a new logo. It is a restatement of the values IABC shares with you, its members.IABC connects members to ideas, job opportunities and people through professional learning and a culture of sharing. With thousands of members worldwide, representing diverse industries, sectors and disciplines, we are a community of knowledge, experience and support.Having said that, the new logo is the identifying mark of the IABC brand and the redesign of our own chapter logo was carefully considered. The new logo consists of a circle with the italic letters IABC, which remain open at the circle’s edge. The circle represents the globe, and the openness of the letters at the edge of the circle represent IABC’s core values of transparency, connectivity and community.Chapters were given the flexibility to display an iconic image that represents their city with a reverse logo in the corner. We would be remiss without thanking Tourism London for use of an amazing photograph of downtown London.IABC London’s new look is in full rollout. Watch it popping up at IABC events, the Virtuoso Awards Night and in our monthly newsletter. You can also check it out on our website, Twitter and Facebook pages. You play an important role in bringing the brand to life. Let us know what you think.
