Becca Lucas Lord is an award-winning marketing and communications professional with over twenty years’ experience building, leading, and coaching teams. With a diverse background spanning public and government affairs, tech start-ups, not-for-profit, as well as global advertising and marketing agencies, Becca brings a wealth of leadership experience to IABC London.

After spending time as a member of the Toronto Chapter of IABC, Becca was keen to explore IABC London following her return to her hometown in 2020. She joined IABC London as Communications Chair in the spring of 2024 as a way to connect with other experts in the field, advance IABC’s story in this region, and offer mentorship to young professionals.

Following her Vice President role with a global advertising network, Becca turned her attention to building her consulting business. She helps entrepreneurs and small businesses define their goals, market to their customers, and grow their market share. She also supports corporations and advertising agencies with business strategy, operations, and leadership mandates.

Becca credits her degrees at Western, (English and Media) as well as her Postgraduate in Public Relations from Humber with inspiring her enthusiasm for communications.

In her free time, Becca is passionate about travel, art, film, books, Peleton, being an Auntie – and discovering new local restaurants. She lives in London’s historic Woodfield neighbourhood with her wife, Jen, and cat Farrah.
