Introducing the speakers
JESSICA DE LANGE
Jessica is digital marketing specialist at adHOME Creative, a full-service advertising agency in London.
At adHOME she is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of integrated digital solutions, which includes social media marketing and search engine marketing.
Jessica received her B.A. from Western University in Political Science and English and also holds a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations from Western.
Andrew is an award winning entrepreneur (PROFIT Magazine 2013 PROFIT HOT 50 list), a 5-time international award winning Digital Marketer, a columnist with the London Free Press, the President at tbk Creative and a co-founder of AODA Online.
AODA Online is an enterprise level web accessibility and monitoring software that helps companies modify their websites to meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act requirements. AODA Online is used by organizations such as Western University, Goodlife Fitness, London Health Sciences Foundation, District School Board of Niagara, amongst others.
In 2013, Business London Magazine named Andrew to their 20 Under 40 list that recognizes “industry leaders who are under the age of 40 and also give back to their community.”
Andrew is a regular speaker and consults provincially, helping organizations build websites that source their brand’s greatness while meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
Wayne is the founder of Ontario SEO, a highly technical, data-driven online marketing firm in London, Ontario. With two decades of marketing experience — including nine years devoted to Search Engine Marketing (SEM) — Wayne has developed an in-depth understanding regarding how to use digital platforms to measurably boost awareness and sales. His agency delivers integrated marketing campaigns that create the ultimate conversion funnels, so that local and national brands convert more customers.
SEM and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are rapidly evolving industries that constantly introduce new marketing platforms. Some of these platforms fail, but others are integral to competing in the digital market. Google+ falls into the latter category, which is one of the many reasons that Wayne was an early adopter and continues to be this platform’s evangelist.
Wayne is a driven entrepreneur and family man who runs on an endless stream of caffeinated beverages and sarcastic wit.
Melissa’s a digital strategist & speaker, specializing in post-secondary education and social network theory. She’s been building & studying community longer than ER was a TV show – from helping cities rethink youth services, to working with Canada’s best minds to understand online identity, to showing universities how to reconnect.
As one of the first graduates of Western University’s Media & Public Interest program (Faculty of Information & Media Studies), she’s proud to work on campus helping to share the school that she loves as Digital Content Manager.
