President’s Note: IABC London is helping communicators adapt, innovate and progress

Categories: News

While the past 18 months have been challenging, communicators have a unique opportunity to strengthen our reputation as strategic business partners. The importance of effective communication has never been more appreciated. At IABC London, it’s our goal to help you seize this opportunity. As we face additional months of uncertainty, our Board of Directors is committed to helping our members adapt, innovate and progress.

Professional development and member engagement are at the core of our strategy.

We’re planning for a season of engaging and insightful events. You’ll hear from thought leaders on the latest trends in the industry, case studies of unique and effective campaigns, and much more. You will walk away with fresh perspectives that you can use to adapt to the changing profession and innovate in your role.

For those looking to progress in their career, our mentorship program will be offered on-demand to our members. We will continue to provide access to career opportunities through our Job Board and, in early 2022, we will once again offer a certification exam for professionals to earn their CMP or SCMP designation. We will also launch the 2022 Virtuoso Awards, celebrating communications excellence and providing insightful feedback to entrants.

And that’s just the beginning. This year, we will find more ways to recognize our members and ensure that you are taking full advantage of your membership – from local programming to international resources. We will also look for new ways to bring our community together.

Adapt. Innovate. Progress. Join us and your colleagues this year in staying current, advancing the profession, and continuing London’s legacy as a hub of communications excellence.
