It’s not too late to recognize an Outstanding Communicator

Categories: News

What makes an outstanding communicator?

Outstanding communicators elevate the profession by demonstrating excellence in communications themselves and by supporting the communications function in their organization. They inspire communicators at all levels and yield their skill to make a lasting impact in their community.

They are people like David Bilson, CEO of rTraction and recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Communicator Award.

“Last year I was grateful to receive the Outstanding Communicator Award from IABC London,” says Bilson. “In the day to day chaos that is the communication world, it’s important to stop and reflect on the impact of our words. The award was an opportunity to be reminded of the importance how we use communication to build better teams and ultimately better communities.”

Do you know someone like David Bilson who has made an impact on the field of business communications? It’s not too late to recognize them!

Nomination forms for the Outstanding Communicator Award can be accessed on the IABC London website and must be submitted by Thursday, April 18. The nominations will be reviewed by a panel of senior IABC London members and three finalists will be announced in May.

The award will be presented on June 6 at IABC London’s Ruby Jubilee – an evening of laughter, networking and celebrating excellence to mark our chapter’s 40th anniversary.
