Expand your connections, expand your insights, expand your network, and importantly, expand your budget by taking advantage of IABC’s membership month and receive 10 per cent off a new membership or by renewing your current membership.
It’s hard to admit, but I personally let my membership lapse for a few years. After having a student membership and renewing once or twice I found I was learning a lot from my peers, team, and mentors. I didn’t invest in a membership.
While lapsed, I still attended IABC London’s networking and professional development events, read every issue of Connect, and participated in IABC’s award programs. I still felt like part of the community, even without membership – IABC London is super welcoming whether you’re a member or not and that’s awesome!
But as I grew as a communications professional, and wanted to expand my impact in my role, in my community, and in London’s communication community, the time had come to become a member again.
What I found was that the benefits to membership were immense. It began with joining IABC’s London’s Board, participating IABC’s member excusive online community “The Hub,” sitting on monthly webinars and attending IABC London events at a reduced rate.
After experiencing the instant benefits of membership, I regret letting my membership lapse. Another regret: I didn’t wait for membership month to renew. If I had, I would have saved 10 per cent.
Don’t make the same mistakes I did, take advantage of IABC Membership month and receive 10 per cent off a new membership or by renewing your current membership.
