The 2015 IABC Virtuoso Awards Gala took place on Thursday June 4th at Brescia’s Mercato. Over 100 of London and area’s communications and creative professionals attended the event, which was made possible by our generous sponsors, including gold sponsors ATMOS Marketing and Gotham Studios.

virtuoso-2015-group-02Dave Lawrence of Free 98.1 FM kicked off the ceremony by professing his love for Dawson’s Creek, and joking with the audience about the pros and cons of 90s pop culture. During the awards program, brand communication, media relations and social media programs were among some of the categories in which work was celebrated. WARPAINT Media and Lashbrook Marketing & Public Relations received the highest honours for the evening, each taking home a Best of the Best award. Visit our website for a list of all our 2015 award recipients.

After the ceremony, DJ Brooke Watson pumped out 90s beats and Bookmark Photography snapped shots of the attendees hauling boom boxes and sporting neon visors and bedazzled jean jackets. The night wouldn’t have been complete without a dance off, and IABC’s Co-Director of Professional Development, Victor Harris, and President Matt Quinn did not disappoint. Between the running man and robot hip thrusts, the winner was unclear, but we do know for sure that this year’s Virtuoso Awards gala was totally off the hook!
