IABC Hosts a Forward-Looking Blast from the Past

Let’s take a look at IABC London’s past so we can celebrate our achievements, learn from our challenges, and plan for an exciting future. AGMs are all about reflection and evolution, so we’ve called in an expert to help us make the most of this exciting opportunity for our chapter. Join communicators from across London and the surrounding area to travel back in time with Diny Dalby, ABC, MC.

Diny is IABC London’s founding president and well qualified to reflect on the vision for our chapter and how it has evolved over the past 36 years. IABC London is dedicated to being a community hub and resource for communicators across our region – but we can’t do it alone!

Register today to help us kick off the next year by looking at the past three decades of redefining London’s communications landscape.

About Diny

A charter member of IABC and the first person in our chapter to become accredited, Diny was part of the team that established our chapter in 1979. An award-winning journalist and organizational communicator, she worked more than 25 years within the Blackburn Group of media companies before establishing her own consulting firm.

As owner and principal of Dalby & Dalby Associates, Diny specialized in issues management, working directly with CEOs regionally and in the GTA. For 12 years, Diny was a sessional lecturer in Western’s Faculty of Information and Media Studies, mentoring students who later went on to succeed as organizational communicators. In the community, Diny has made her mark serving on numerous committees, task forces and Boards of Directors, including London Health Sciences Centre and London Health Sciences Foundation, of which she is a past chair.
