IABC London is seeking a volunteer Director, Finance to join the chapter’s board of directors.
The Director, Finance is responsible for ensuring that IABC London operates in a fiscally responsible manner. Duties include:
- Developing the chapter’s annual budget and presenting to the board for approval
- Tracking revenue and expenses, and submitting payment to vendors
- Monitoring the financial standing of the chapter and providing regular updates to the board of directors
- Collaborating with other portfolio directors to ensure ongoing management of portfolio budgets
- Presenting annual finance report for approval by the membership at the Annual General Meeting
- Attending monthly board meetings and sitting as a member of the chapter’s Executive Committee
Qualifications:
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of accounting best practices or a willingness to learn
- Member of IABC
