Kris Dundas, ABC, CMP, is a leader in strategic communications, brand marketing, publications and public relations for the higher education sector. She has worked at Western University for the past 16 years and currently coordinates marketing, branding, web and social media to support international student recruitment, exchange and study abroad programs, international student services and international relations. In her previous role, Kris led strategic marketing, branding and internal communications for Western’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
A member of IABC London since 1997, Kris has served the IABC London Board in many roles, including sponsorship, awards chair, web and membership liaison, and Director, Accreditation. She achieved the Communication Management Professional (CMP) designation in 2016 and received her Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) designation in 2008. She has a Master of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in English, both from Western University. She is a recipient of three IABC Gold Quill Awards, an IABC Canada Silver Leaf award and several IABC London Virtuoso Awards. She has also judged for the Gold Quill, Silver Leaf and Virtuoso programs, as well as the Canadian Council for Advancement in Education (CCAE) Awards.
