Craig FlinnCraig Flinn, of Tenzing Communications, has been a member of IABC for nearly four years. A graduate of Fanshawe College, Craig’s roots in London have helped him to flourish within the community, and he values the city in which he works and lives.

As a professional communicator, Craig understands the importance of building relationships with fellow business communicators. “Being a member of IABC allows me to see what is happening from many varying view-points and value-sets. I am able to network with various people from around the city – each of whom bring a different perspective to the world of communications. This allows me to remain up-to-date with what is happening in our city, and to continually learn about my community.”

Craig graduated from Fanshawe College in 2002 with a diploma in Business Administration-Marketing. Since graduating, Craig has worked at the London Health Sciences Centre in fundraising and with the Dream of a Lifetime lottery. While working full time, this ambitious and hard-working young man has also managed to further his education. In 2006, Craig received a certificate in Executive Development from Queen’s University’s School of Business. In the same year, Craig specialized in Direct Response and earned a certificate through the Canadian Marketing Association. When Craig does find time to relax, he can be found on the golf course or spending time with family and playing with his beautiful niece, Sydney.

For the last four years Craig has been employed at Tenzing Communications where he works as a Media Planner and Project Manager. Craig’s position at Tenzing deals primarily with strategic media planning for a variety of clients. From the inception and implementation of ideas, to the final measurement and evaluation of strategies, Craig is passionate about the work he does.

Craig believes that his involvement with IABC also helps him to bring a level of authenticity to his work at Tenzing. By gaining an overall understanding of the community, Tenzing is then able to better understand the communication that their clients require. Craig feels great about the contributions he is able to make to his workplace and remains confident that IABC is an invaluable resource for him, both personally and professionally.

Being a member of IABC allows Craig to see areas of communication that differ from the Agency life at Tenzing. “Joining IABC has definitely allowed for personal growth, but the professional benefits are tremendous as well. Being involved in IABC allows me to connect with others in my field and learn from their experiences, as well as to share my own.”
