IABC Member Salary Survey coming soon
Look for Profile I, the IABC membership survey coming to your e-mail inbox soon.
The IABC Research Foundation and IABC/Toronto have pooled their talents and are collaborating to launch the 2006 Member Salary Survey. This simple salary survey will collect data for 2006 and should take no more than 10 minutes to fill out. The survey will be sent by e-mail to the entire membership on November 2, 2006 with a deadline of November 17, 2006.
The study will provide IABC members with current salary comparisons by such factors as salary by geographic area, by education, years in communication, years of experience, work setting, industry, title, number of employees, bonus, etc.
All individual responses will be kept confidential and only reported in an aggregate form.
The data will be evaluated and will be presented in spring 2007.
We are extremely happy to be able to provide this important benefit for our members. Please support our collecting a robust sample size for the entire IABC membership by supply us with your information. We’re confident that you’ll find this a valuable resource.
Then, stay tuned for Profile Part 2, which is a more comprehensive study of organizational structure and function. This resource will be of great value, particularly to our core audience of corporate communicators who will be able use it as a guideline for evaluating and assessing their communication departments.
