October is IABC Accreditation month

(posted October 2, 2006)

During October, the IABC Accreditation Council has some terrific prizes to help you overcome inertia. If you submit your accreditation application and fee to IABC headquarters during October 2006, you'll receive a US $20 gift certificate to the IABC Knowledge Centre. And you'll be eligible to win:

  • One-year membership in IABC
  • One regular registration to the IABC 2007 International Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • One registration for the "Developing your Portfolio" teleseminar on Dec. 7th
  • One copy of any product from the IABC Knowledge Centre
  • Two hours of media relations consulting with Wilma Matthews, ABC, IABC Fellow
  • Two hours of strategic communication consultation with Nick Durutta, ABC, on helping ensure your communication plan addresses core strategic issues.
  • Two hours of consulting on crisis communication management, strategic planning or media relations from Mary Ann McCauley, ABC.
  • One copy of IABC's new program entitled "Media Training With Excellence," a train-the-trainer approach to media training. The program, by Eric Bergman, ABC, APR, MC, will be released late 2006 or early 2007 and is expected to sell for about $380.
  • An 8.2-megapixel HP Photosmart R927 Digital Camera (which retails for around $300-350). This HP camera's a real winner, the editor's choice of both LAPTOP Magazine and American Photo magazine.

Everyone comes out a winner. It will do wonders for your image, and you'll have the pictures to prove it with your HP Photosmart camera!
