Leader spotlight on IABC/London's Pat Morden, ABC
IABC/London would like to recognize last year's accreditation liaison, Pat Morden, ABC, with a special "Pat on the Back."
Pat started the chapter's first accreditation completion program last year. According to chapter president Keith Brooks, Pat's approach convinced six people to enroll in the accreditation process. That is quite a feat considering the chapter has only five current ABCs.
Keith says, "Pat was persistent in her support for the group and organized a number of sessions to review material from the Inside Organizational Communication publication. She also spent time and energy assisting with portfolio reviews and general personal support during the process. She was always available to provide advice and suggestions.
"As of this date, four individuals have completed the exam and are awaiting their results and two are working on their portfolio submission. All have felt that Pat's contributions to the process were pivotal in reaching their current stage of accreditation."
Keith also credits the contributions of chapter members Rob Way, ABC, and Michelle Floyd, ABC, this year's accreditation liaison, for their assistance in reviewing portfolios and proctoring exams.
