In order to meet its objective, the College is seeking an innovative, creative, collaborative leader to become the Executive Director, Reputation and Brand Management.

In alignment with Fanshawe’s strategic goals toward innovation and creativity; increased enrolment; optimization of resources; and alternative revenue generation; the Executive Director, Reputation and Brand Management will be accountable for the leadership, implementation, and administration of College publicity, marketing, communications, student recruitment, and external relations strategies. In addition, the Executive Director will build strong client relationships based on trust, mutual respect, and a commitment of shared success to launch new products, enter new markets (both domestic and global), analyse key market research trends, and leverage the power and brand of Fanshawe into the future. With your proven track-record of experience across the broad spectrum of modern communications, marketing, and brand management within the public and/or private sector, you and your team will strategically fashion the right balance between brand, reputation, and product.


As a member of the Senior Leadership team and reporting to the Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, the Executive Director will provide professional expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to advance the College’s vision and mission. This Senior Leader will be accountable for demonstrating measurable impacts which includes ROI from marketing, communications, branding strategies and tactics.  While utilizing comprehensive data to segment the market, the Executive Director will understand how to differentially market to and within overseas targets, both for recruitment and business development opportunities.


As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership, marketing, and communication experience, including comprehensive knowledge of sub-branding and the ability to implement and operationalize a CRM system. A Master’s degree in marketing or communications or a related field is required. You will be a visionary, collaborative, innovative, responsible, flexible and results-driven Senior Leader bringing your energy and enthusiasm to this integral position. Your strong communications, marketing, business acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships within the College and the Community at large will position you for success.
