Marketing and Sales Coordinator

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will serve primarily as a key point of contact for potential and existing Ivey Open Enrolment and Client-specific program clients. He/she will provide support critical to the development and execution of both marketing and business development strategies and activities. There are 3 main objectives for this position:
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Co-ordinates and executes marketing activities for Ivey’s Executive Development Programs, including:
- Implements marketing campaigns (i.e., email, direct mail, etc.);
- Co-ordinates delivery of marketing events (such as EDI, Lunch Series, Breakfast sessions, special events etc.);
- Analyzes and generates marketing reports and research to track performance;
- Follows up on all potential leads generated by marketing activities and other referrals;
- Coordinates projects related to marketing technology tools (such as Flatbridge, Website, Online Payments etc.)
- Participates in the on-going strategic planning to expand the use of Ivey Executive Development’s Open Enrolment and Client-specific programs with key clients
- Executes marketing and promotional strategies (i.e. newsletters, reminder emails, special event invitations, promo offers, loyalty program credits etc.);
- Maintains integrity and execution of various marketing materials (including design, production and proofreading)
- Provides administrative, research and analysis support to business development strategies for Ivey’s Executive Development Programs, including:
- Responsible for client file management, both hard copy (i.e. blue folders) and electronically (i.e. Shared Folders and Flatbridge);
- Compiles and generates sales reports, weekly and monthly reports, and research (including competitor profiling);
- Oversees Executive Development email account
- Communicates marketing updates (such as details on Program offerings, promo offers, special events, etc.)
- Collates sales fulfillments and proposals;
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Oversees aspects of Open Enrolment activities, including:
- Integrity of participant registration (i.e., applications and invoices);
- Post program follow up with clients (i.e., referrals, surveys);
- Executes follow up communication plan with program participants (i.e., cancellations, withdrawals etc.);
- Attends Executive Development programs to develop relationships with clients and gather program feedback, and identify influencers among participants who can help with testimonials, rankings and future program
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:
- University degree
- 4 to 5 years sales and/or marketing experience
- Strong general business knowledge with a willingness and interest to keep informed of current events in the business environment
- Professional in presence and presentation
- Excellent phone manner
- Experience with the Ivey case method would be an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must; including a comfort level presenting to groups
- Experience with contact management databases; proficient in all Windows applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be a team player
- Must be results driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Must be able to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Must bring both innovation and bottom-line awareness to project management responsibilities
- Must be able to set priorities based on potential revenue opportunities
- Willingness to travel and work outside of regular business hours
- Ability to work with detail with high degree of accuracy
