During her internship, she served as a Communications Coordinator at Goodwill Ontario Great Lakes, where she researched and developed the organization’s crisis communications plan, as well as its media policies and procedures. More recently, Adina held the position of Editorial Assistant with Municipal World – the oldest continuously published monthly municipal magazine in the world.

sandy-rossSandy Ross – Chapter Administrator

Sandy’s a well-networked communicator who began Word’s Worth in 1992 to craft marketing and content strategy to help you ‘get the word out and get your Word’s Worth’. Clients especially appreciate her gifted turn of phrase and, where suited, humour as a hook. A past member of CAPS speakers, she also engages groups and individuals through consultative brainstorms, tailored workshops, and facilitated forums.

This wordsmith’s niche focus of community goodwill is the Homepreneur Network she founded. Since its 1993 launch, she’s helped 700+ entrepreneurs (often home-based) ease isolation and connect to resources and each other at events – and 26,000 more visiting online at SandyRoss.ca.

A two-time Fanshawe College graduate (Behavioural Science, Secretarial), Sandy’s volunteered since her teens on boards, committees, and London’s small business task force. Today, she continues many years of service to IABC communicators – since 1998 – as chapter administrator.
